Fellas, it’s a joy and honor to do life and preparation for athletics with you! We get to spend a lot of time together—during the Winter quarter our group met 4 days per week for 1.5hr-2hr each day. At the end of each training quarter, as some of you transition to your sporting season, it’s a bitter-sweet transition for not only me, but the athletes who aren’t spending that intentional time together any more. We miss the collective experience and camaderie of the grind of training, pursuing purposes and potential, holding each other relationally accountable in life as well as training and nutrition, joking around and being silly, and so much more. The sweetness is when your sporting season is in play, you get to taste and manifest the fruits of your labor. I can’t wait to hear how each of you Spring athletes do this season, and I look forward to encouraging you in during the Summer quarter at Actualize!
