Congratulations to Logan Nelson, Actualize Sports Athlete of the Year!
Logan started working with Actualize Sports in July of 2018. During his time at Actualize, Logan has participated in an elite male high school and college training group which included strength, conditioning and SARQ (speed, agility, reaction & quickness) training, nutrition coaching, goal setting and relational accountability. The goal from the start was to receive a college scholarship as a soccer goalie. Accomplished!
Now attending West Virginia Wesleyan College on scholarship, but studying remotely in Wenatchee due to COVID, Logan eagerly awaits the signal to return to school. His goals have shifted to becoming a premier collegiate goalie, potentially studying to become a Physician, and being in the best shape of his life when he steps on the field.
Logan, you are absolutely in the best shape of your life thanks to setting your eyes and actions ablaze on doing everything in your power to give yourself the best opportunity to succeed. Not only do you show up every day and lay it all out on the training floor as a technician of your craft, you have caught revelation of the absolute necessity of high-performance athletes to bring optimal nutrition alongside training. Your results speak loud and clear!

- Vertical Jump: 22.5in to 29.9in
- Broad Jump: 103in to 110in

What a bright and deserving moment for you in the memorable year of 2020! You have taken the past 8 months of lemons and turned it into lemonade. You have shown determination, persistence, and grit. In a spring and summer full of COVID-related cancellations, restrictions, quarantining, and social distancing, all of which changed the course of the last months of your senior year and the first months of your freshman college year, you demonstrated focus and commitment. You seized every opportunity to better yourself—running, biking, hiking, swimming, and when finally allowed, training with your group outside in the heat of the day. You would never have seen the physical changes without a whole lot of discipline (and a whole lot of chicken and broccoli 🙂 ) We are excited to watch you play soccer at your college, hopefully in the spring, and know that the efforts you’ve put in these last few months will show up in a big way on the field.
