Actualize Family,

We are having a ton of fun with our outdoor training classes. Member feedback has been positive and people are thankful for the option to pursue their health and fitness goals in a safe and encouraging environment that aligns with the Governor’s guidelines for Phase 1.5.

I wish I had an update for when we can transition to Phase 2 and what indoor training will look like. I participated on a Zoom call today with local and statewide leaders in the fitness industry and local representatives who are lobbying for revised guidelines for Phases 1.5, 2 & 3. On a high level, it’s looking like the Governor will consider transitioning state counties to new phases in October. On a positive note, the Governor’s office does appear open to the fitness industry lobbying and adjusting the current guidelines for these phases. I will provide a more detailed update when concrete information becomes available.

We are seeing an increase in our 1-hr outdoor training classes. Our goal has been to add new classes as need presents itself. Starting Monday, August 31st, we are adding new 30-min metabolic classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The new schedule will be as follows:

  • 1-Hr Functional Strength Training: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 4:30am, 5:30am & 6:30am
  • 30-Min Metabolic Training: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5am & 5:30am

Note: all classes require an active membership and enrollment through the MindBody app.

Please email Jenny Smith at [email protected] if you would like to reactivate your membership.

For those who are still not ready to come back, we understand, and want to be a source of encouragement during this time. There are many online videos on Facebook and Instagram you can do from home with little or no equipment. Also, we would love to connect over email, phone or a Zoom call to catch up, talk fitness, nutrition and life. We miss you!

We are also conducting outdoor training for youth competitive athletes. There are still a few spots left for our middle school and high school groups that occur after school. If you are a scholar-athlete who desires to increase performance, reduce your likelihood of injury and dial in your nutrition, contact us today!

Lastly, the big question on everybody’s mind is, “What going to happen when the weather changes?” I don’t have a good answer for you. We are exploring options. My prayer is we can continue with outdoor training into October—the weather has been amazing, we have not had to cancel one class so far (knock on wood)—and transition inside when the weather shifts which I hope aligns with permission to move into Phase 2. Stay tuned!

It continues to be a blessing to help you pursue your purposes and potential in health, fitness and life!

Coach Blaine
