See “What are we doing?” below for a few group reservations at all-inclusive and non-all-inclusive restaurants and activities.
What are we doing?
With so many people in our group, we are making a few group reservations at the following “must do” restaurants and activities (some not included in all-inclusive). Do not feel required to participate.

- Saturday (3/28): Welcome Reception at Kelly’s Bar at the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay at 7pm (all-inclusive). Most people arrive Saturday, so after you get your pool/beach fix, we’ll gather to kick off our time together. Kids are not allowed in the bar so our group will have a designated area just outside on the terrace. You can eat at Kelly’s or wander to other restaurants on the property. Reception dress: casual.

- Sunday (3/29):Cocktails on the top of the Best Western Posado Freeman Hotel (not all-inclusive) at 6pm for sunset cocktails and dinner at Topolo at 7:30pm (not all-inclusive). We will leave the Emerald Bay on the free shuttle to the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan at 5:00pm and take a Pulmonia/cab (a suped-up Mexican golf cart) to the Freemon Hotel. Be sure the pulmonia driver knows you want the Freeman Hotel in the Centro Historico because there is another property in the Golden Zone. This is a fabulous rooftop spot to see Mazatlan from on high and capture great photos at sunset like the one above. Afterward cocktails, we’ll take a quick Pulmonia to Topolo at 7:15pm. Note: The Emerald Bay Shuttle leaves every 30 min to and from the sister property (Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan) between the hours of 10am-9:30pm. Schedule your shuttle tickets earlier in the day for the time you desire. Dinner dress: vacation night out.
- Monday (3/30):We have no reservations planned but a group of people will be going to Mr. Lionso Playa Bruja (not all-inclusive) for dinner (no reservation needed). A short pulmonia ride from the Emerald Bay, this local, affordable, open-air establishment on the beach specializes in its tequila (bottles are brought to your table for tasting, including a snake tequila…do you dare?!), whole snapper, seafood and traditional Mexican. We’ll chat about a good time to meet for those who want to partake and send a text to share the time. Dinner dress: casual.
Tuesday (3/31): Brenster’s Beach Bash (not all-inclusive) followed by dinner at Cilantros (all-inclusive) at the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan at 7pm. We will leave for Brenster’s Beach Bash (at Diego’s Beach Bar) on the free shuttle to the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan around 1pm. You can either walk the beach to Diego’s or take a quick Pulmonia ride. What is Brenster’s Beach Bash? Think an older version Kenny Chesney meets Jimmy Buffet meets Neil Diamond at a fun Mexican beach bar with dancing and singing with people of all ages from all over the world. See pricing to the left. After Brenster’s, we’ll make our way back to the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan to change, pre-funk and have dinner at Cilantros at 7pm. It’s Erin Davidson’s BDAY! Note: The Emerald Bay Shuttle leaves every 30 min to and from the sister property (Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan) between the hours of 10am-9:30pm. Schedule your shuttle tickets earlier in the day for the time you desire. Brenster’s & dinner dress: beach & bring casual change for dinner.

- Wednesday (4/1):Enjoy a pool/beach day at the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan (all-inclusive). Consider dinner onsite at Angelos (semi all-inclusive). Take the free shuttle whenever you desire to the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. They have three wonderful restaurants onsite that serve Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The main pool is under construction, so head to the pool/bar area in the new wing of the hotel. Hang out at the pool, go surfing, walk the beach, eat at the all-inclusive restaurants on site or check out nearby shopping and restaurants in the Golden Zone. There is also a surf school located on the premises. We were unable to secure a group reservation for a party our size at Angelos (Italian), so make a reservation with the Concierge if you want to go this evening. Note Angelos is one of two upscale semi all-inclusive options and you will be charged $15/person to enjoy whatever food/drink you desire on the menu. Or try one of the wonderful non all-inclusive options shared at the bottom of this page. Pool/beach & dinner dress: beach & bring vacation night out change of clothes for dinner if you go to Angelos, they do not allows beachwear.

- Thursday (4/2): Lunch and live music at Surf’s Up (not-all-inclusive) at 11am. Consider dinner at Casa 46 (semi all-inclusive). A short beach walk away from the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay, Surf’s Up is an off-the-beaten track gem that only those in-the-know know exists. This open-air beach joint is known for its eats, rocking live music and fresh cocktails, and you can surf just a few steps away if you bring a board. You will have plenty of time after Surf’s Up to walk back to the hotel to spend time at the hotel and get ready for wherever you do dinner. For some, this will be their farewell evening, making it the perfect night for this amazing restaurant and ambience. For dinner, we will leave the Emerald Bay on the free shuttle to the Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan around 5:30pm and take a Pulmonia to El Presidio. We’re leaving a little early because it’s Friday and there can be traffic. After dinner, plan on heading to the Plaza Machado.
