“From the first time I stepped into the weight room at Bellevue High School and witnessed Blaine instructing me and my fellow teammates I knew there was something special about him. His ability to push us to our limits by positively motivating us was unbelievable. I remember one of many personal incidents that really epitomized this ability. We were at a football camp during the summer before my junior year. I was unable to participate because I had injured my knee a couple weeks earlier in spring practice.
